JD (U) MLA’s health deteriorated after reaching the Disaster Committee’s meeting in Nalanda.

Patna July 1: JD(U) MLA Hari Narayan Singh fainted as soon as he reached a disaster committee meeting in Bihar’s Nalanda district on Monday.

Nalanda DM Shashank Shubhankar confirmed the development, stating that Singh’s condition is stable. He has been referred to Patna’s Medanta Hospital for better treatment.

Singh, who represents the Harnaut assembly constituency and is a member of the assembly equipment committee, fainted as soon as he reached the auditorium for the meeting at Hardev Bhawan in Bihar Sharif Collectorate.

He was rushed to Sadar Hospital for immediate treatment. As he was already undergoing treatment in Patna’s Medanta hospital in the past, doctors referred him there for better care after administering first aid.

Many JD(U) workers and officials, including JD(U) Legislative Councilor Representative Akhlaq Ahmed, gathered at the hospital following the incident.

Ahmed mentioned that Singh’s health worsened as soon as he entered the auditorium for the meeting.

Nalanda DM Shashank Shubhankar also visited the hospital to check Singh’s condition.

“Singh felt dizzy on his way to the meeting, leading to his hospitalization. Singh was already undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital in Patna, which is why he was referred there for further treatment,” Shubhankar said.
