Patna, June 7: With the importance of Nitish Kumar and Chirag Paswan enhanced in the Narendra Modi third term, they could get four and two cabinet berths in the new government. At the same time, BJP may remove some of the faces of the previous government.

In Bihar, JD (U) contested 16 seats, while the BJP fielded candidates on 17 seats but both the parties have won 12 seats each. In this respect, JD (U) has performed better than BJP.

Leaders from backward or extremely backward communities can also get a place. Sunil Kumar Kushwaha, who comes from the Kushwaha caste, can also be made a minister. Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas (LJPRV) is also claiming two cabinet berths. Chirag Paswan is considered certain to get a place in the cabinet.
