Patna June 26: Close save for a teenage girl in Bihar’s Sitamarhi district after lightning struck near her on Tuesday evening. The girl was making reels on the rooftop of the house when the mishap took place.

A video of this incident surfaced on social media. As per the video, it was seen that lightning struck the topmost roof of the house while a girl named Sania Kumari was standing just near it. She ran away to save herself as soon as lightning struck. However, she had set the camera in one place and hence the whole incident was recorded. The magnitude of the lightning was such that the entire area was shaken up by that incident.

The incident occurred at Sirsia village under Bela police station of Sitamarhi district. It is said that as soon as the rain started, 15-year-old Sania Kumari reached the roof of her neighbor Devnarayan Bhagat’s house to make reels.
