BJP will welcome union ministers in Patna.
Patna July 5: The BJP Bihar is hosting an event to welcome all eight union ministers from Bihar in Patna on Friday.
Union ministers Jitan Ram Manjhi (HAM), Giriraj Singh (BJP), Lalan Singh JD (U), Nityanand Rai (BJP), Chirag Paswan (LJPRV), and Raj Bhushan Nishad (BJP), who won the Lok Sabha elections from Gaya, Begusarai, Munger, Ujiarpur, Hajipur, and Muzaffarpur, respectively. Additionally, Rajya Sabha MPs Satish Chandra Dubey (BJP) and Ramnath Thakur (JD U) will be present.
The event will start at Sri Krishna Memorial Hall near Gandhi Maidan in Patna at 11 am. A large number of NDA supporters are expected to attend the event, which aims to showcase the unity of NDA leaders.
The NDA recently came to power at the centre for the third time after winning the Lok Sabha election.
Out of Bihar’s 40 Lok Sabha seats, the NDA won 30. The BJP secured 12 seats, JD (U) 12, LJP (Ram Vilas) 5, and HAM 1 seat. In Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet, five MPs from the BJP, two from JD(U), one from LJP (Ram Vilas), and one from Hindustani Awam Morcha have been appointed as ministers.
