Arun Bharti will be the candidate of LJPR to contest from Jamui in LS poll.

Patna: Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas (LJPR) led by Chirag Paswan has given the ticket to Arun Bharti to contest the Lok Sabha election from Jamui (SC Reserved) seat on Wednesday.
NDA has given five seats to LJPR including Jamui in Bihar. Besides Jamui, LJPR will also contest on Hajipur, Samastipur, Vaishali and Khagaria Lok Sabha seats.
Arun Bharti is a brother-in-law of Chirag Paswan. Late Ram Vilas Paswan and Reena Paswan have two children Chirag Paswan and Nisha Paswan and Arun Paswan is a husband of Nisha Paswan.
Arun Bharti will file the nomination on the last day on March 28. Chirag Paswan is contesting from Hajipur (Reserved) seat in 2024 Lok Sabha election. The candidates for the remaining three seats Samastipur, Vaishali and Khagaria are not finalized yet.
Arun Bharti, after the selection, uploaded a post on social media platform and expressed gratitude to Chirag Paswan for giving him a ticket from Jamui.
“LJPR national president Chirag Paswan has given me the symbol of the party to contest the Lok Sabha election from Jamui. He has shown faith in me. I am thankful to him and PM Narendra Modi. NDA will cross 400 mark easily in the Lok Sabha election and form the government again in the centre,” Bharti said in his post.
Arun Bharti will contest against RJD candidate Archana Ravidas, a local Dalit leader of Jamui. Arun Bharti is not a native of Jamui.
