Chirag Paswan reclaimed the bungalow of 1 Wheeler Road after winning a battle against his uncle.

Patna November 15,2024: Chirag Paswan, Union Minister and leader of the Lok Janshakti Party Ram Vilas (LJPRV)  marked a significant moment by reclaiming his party’s old office after a prolonged dispute with his uncle, Pashupati Kumar Paras.

This development unfolded after the Building Construction Department intervened and repossessed the bungalow, which had been under the control of Paras-led Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJP).

Chirag Paswan visited the bungalow with Jamui MP:

Chirag Paswan, accompanied by his brother-in-law, Jamui MP Arun Bharti, inspected the bungalow on the auspicious occasion of Kartik Purnima. He also performed a Puja at the office, symbolizing a fresh beginning.

The bungalow had been a contentious issue between the two factions of the LJP, led by Chirag Paswan and Pashupati Paras, respectively.

Following a split in the party after the death of its founder Ram Vilas Paswan, the faction led by Paras occupied the property, which Chirag has now successfully reclaimed.

With the office back in his possession, Chirag Paswan plans to re-establish his political activities from the bungalow, signaling a renewed focus on consolidating his leadership within the LJPRV.

Chirag Paswan won the battle against his uncle Pashupati Paras:

This event is seen as a symbolic victory for Chirag Paswan in the ongoing power struggle within the Paswan family and their respective factions. It also reinforces his standing as the rightful political heir to his father’s legacy.

Chirag Paswan reflected on the emotional significance of reclaiming the old Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) office, highlighting its connection to his late father, Ram Vilas Paswan, who was the party’s founder.

During his visit to the office, he acknowledged the intertwined memories of both his father and his uncle, Pashupati Kumar Paras, underlining the complex personal and political history associated with the property.

Chirag Paswan noted, “Our father’s memories are associated with this office. I have got it again.”

He acknowledged the shared past with his uncle, saying, “It is True that my uncle’s memories are also associated with this bungalow, with whom I stayed for a long time, but circumstances change, and these circumstances have been created by them. Today we are different.”

Chirag Paswan emphasized that the party office belongs to no individual but to the institution.

“The party office does not belong to anyone. Today we have it, tomorrow someone else will have it. All this goes according to the situation.”

The Building Construction Department had set a deadline of November 13 for Pashupati Paras to vacate the office. However, Paras complied ahead of schedule, vacating it on November 11.
