NDA kicks off the 1st phase of the joint workers’ conference to strengthen its position.

Patna January 15, 2025: The joint workers’ conference of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) commenced on Wednesday in Bagaha subdivision, West Champaran district.

The event underscores the alliance’s unity as it gears up for the 2025 Bihar assembly elections.

Dilip Jaiswal said NDA is united in Bihar:

Dilip Jaiswal, the state president of the BJP, reaffirmed the solidarity among alliance partners and dismissed any speculation of division. “Those who are dreaming of creating division will fail. All alliance partners of the NDA, BJP, JD(U), HAMS, LJPRV, and HLM are united. We will contest the 2025 assembly election together as a strong and cohesive team,” Jaiswal said.

In the first phase of the joint workers’ conference, the initiative began in Bagaha and will move through Bettiah, Motihari, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Muzaffarpur, and other locations. A total of 10 districts are set to be covered between January 15 and January 22.

Highlighting the alliance’s ambition, Jaiswal stated, “When NDA goes to election, we target all 243 seats in Bihar to secure a comprehensive victory. This is a significant initiative for the alliance.”

The conference involves grassroots leaders, including district presidents, block presidents, Panchayat presidents, and local MLAs and MLCs, to strengthen coordination and build momentum for the elections. The NDA’s strategy mirrors that of Tejashwi Yadav’s Karyakarta Darshan Sah Samwad Yatra, a similar outreach program aimed at consolidating the opposition’s position at the grassroots level.

NDA has scheduled second phase of joint conference:

In addition to the first phase, the NDA has scheduled a second phase of the joint workers’ conference.

Starting on January 27 in Bhojpur, it will conclude on February 1 in Gaya. This phase will cover Buxar, Kaimur, Rohtas, and Aurangabad, further reinforcing the alliance’s preparations for the polls.

Neeraj Kumar, JD(U) MLC, also targeted the opposition’s predictions about divisions within the NDA. “Some in the opposition camp believed they could divide us, but they are mistaken. There is no BJP, JD(U), HAMS, LJPRV, or RLM here. We are one NDA, united with the goal of achieving victory. Our target is to win 225 seats in Bihar,” Kumar asserted.

The conference is a clear signal of the ruling alliance’s determination to strengthen its organizational structure, reinforce its alliances, and approach the upcoming elections with a unified front.

Similar to the First phase, the focus remains on engaging grassroots leadership. District presidents, block presidents, Panchayat presidents, and local MLAs and MLCs have been invited to actively participate in the event.
