BPSC has cancelled the examination of 1 centre in Patna.
Patna December 16, 2024: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially announced the cancellation of the examination held at the Bapu Examination Centre, as stated by Chairman Ravi Manu Bhai Parmar on Monday.
The decision followed the investigation report submitted by Patna District Magistrate Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh. A new exam date for this specific centre will be announced shortly.
BPSC advised candidates not to panic:
“The examination at Bapu Examination Bhawan has been cancelled, but the overall result will be declared simultaneously for all candidates, including those who retake the exam. Students are advised not to panic as updates on the new schedule will be available on the commission’s official website,” Parmar said.
After receiving the DM’s report, a meeting was convened under Chairman Parmar’s leadership at the BPSC office. During this meeting, it was decided to take strict action against the culprits involved in the disturbances.
A technical team has identified individuals responsible for creating a ruckus, spreading rumours, and engaging in disruptive activities, including tearing booklets and attendance sheets.
Chairman Parmar dismissed rumours of a paper leak, emphasizing that the exam was conducted in a peaceful environment across 911 centres, with 4.75 lakh candidates appearing. The isolated issue at the Bapu Centre does not compromise the integrity of the overall examination.
Reassurance to Candidates:
Parmar reiterated that the results will not be delayed due to the retest and assured students that the commission is committed to fairness and transparency.
The BPSC’s proactive response highlights its dedication to maintaining the credibility of the examination process while ensuring justice for all candidates. Students should remain informed through official announcements.
