BPSC 70th PT Entrance Examination will take place under robust security on Friday.
Patna December 13, 2024: The BPSC 70th Prelims Combined Examination, scheduled for Friday, marks a significant milestone in the commission’s history, with 4.83 lakh candidates vying for the 2031 posts.
The exam will be held at 912 centres across Bihar, including 60 centres in Patna, from 12 to 2 pm.
BPSC has issued strict guidelines for candidates:
As per the guidelines, candidates must bring two copies of their admit card. One copy will be submitted to the invigilator. The commission has strictly asked candidates to bring colour-printed admit cards matching the details provided in the application is mandatory.
Bihar Public Service Commission has strictly prohibited electronic devices, including smartwatches. Whiteners and other prohibited stationery like pencils are not allowed. Only the blue and black pens are permitted.
BPSC has also installed mobile phone jammers and CCTV cameras to ensure stringent monitoring. Section 144 will be enforced within a 100-meter radius of the centres with police and magistrates deployed.

BPSC chairman Parmar Ravi Manu Bhai has outlined robust security measures and arrangements to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examination.
In a bid to prevent question paper leaks, BPSC has four sets of question papers with 10 series each. The specific set was chosen 3 hours prior to the examination through a lottery system.
The commission has also directed the district officials to shut the photocopy shops near the examination centres until the exam concludes.
These measures underscore the commission’s commitment to ensure a fair and transparent examination process for one of its largest recruitment drives.
