BJP issued a booklet named Mahagathbandhan to target opposition leaders.

Patna, April 22, 2024: The Bihar unit of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday launched a sharp attack on the Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance), releasing a booklet highlighting what it called the failures and contradictions of the opposition bloc.

The booklet, unveiled at the party’s state headquarters in Patna, was released by Deputy Chief Minister and BJP state president Samrat Choudhary in the presence of senior leaders, including Patna Sahib MP Ravishankar Prasad and Patliputra MP Ram Kripal Yadav.

BJP leader criticized the opposition:

Speaking on the occasion, Choudhary alleged that RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav has used politics to promote his family, while Congress has been drowned in corruption.

“Lalu Prasad Yadav will not get any seat in the Lok Sabha election 2024. There is a Narendra Modi wave in the country, and the NDA will win with the virtue of PM Modi’s leadership. Tejashwi Yadav is fooling the people,” he said.

Choudhary also criticized remarks by Grand Alliance leaders on national security.

They are saying that when their government forms in the country, they will throw some weapons into the sea. Now the question arises, how will they save the country? Their leaders have nothing to do with the nation’s security,” he charged.

Taking aim at RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav’s employment claims, Choudhary said the party was misleading the public.

Samrat Choudhary said Tejashwi is taking credit for old vacancies:

Tejashwi Yadav claims to have provided jobs during his 17 months in government. But in the departments under RJD’s quota, not a single new vacancy was issued; they merely completed old vacancies,” he said.

The booklet release came as campaigning for the Lok Sabha elections intensified in Bihar, where the NDA and INDIA bloc are locked in a high-stakes contest across all 40 parliamentary constituencies.
