Gurugram, May 30, 2026: Haryana Cabinet Minister Rao Narbir Singh inaugurated an exhibition showcasing various public welfare schemes of the state government and interacted with party workers, providing detailed information about the government’s achievements and ongoing initiatives.
Addressing the gathering in Gurugram, Rao Narbir Singh said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the Haryana government is committed to ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes reach every eligible citizen, particularly those at the grassroots level.
He emphasized that the government’s focus remains on empowering the poor, farmers, women, youth, and marginalized sections of society through transparent and effective governance.
Rao Narbir Singh highlighted housing schemes:
Rao Narbir Singh highlighted that housing facilities are being provided to economically weaker sections through the Mukhyamantri Shahri Awas Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
He added that eligible families are also being granted property ownership rights under the SVAMITVA Scheme, enabling them to secure legal documentation of their residential properties.
Referring to healthcare initiatives, Rao Narbir Singh stated that poor families no longer need to worry about the financial burden of medical treatment.

“Through Ayushmar Bharat and Chirayu Haryana schemes, eligible beneficiaries are receiving medical treatment worth up to Rs 5 lakh,” he said.
Rao Narbir Singh further noted that millions of people across Haryana are benefitting from welfare programs such as the Old Age Honour Allowance, Widow Pension Scheme, Disability Pension, Har Ghar-Har Grihani Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Har Ghar Nal Se Jal, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi, Crop Insurance Scheme, Meri Fasal Mera Byora, e-tendering services, online citizen services, and Antyodaya Pariwar Utthan Karyakram.
He called upon party workers to actively assist in ensuring that every eligible beneficiary receives the advantages of these schemes.
Central government’s welfare initiatives transforming lives:
Speaking on the occasion, Haryana Minister Krishan Bedi elaborated on various welfare and development-oriented schemes launched by the Central government.
He stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several landmark initiatives have been implemented to uplift the poor, farmers, women, youth and socially disadvantaged communities.
During the occasion, BJP state organizing secretary Phanindranath Sharma discussed the party’s organizational framework and working methodology.

He emphasized that the BJP is an ideology-driven organization where every worker contributes significantly to its strength and growth.
He urged workers to uphold discipline, dedication, and accountability while carrying out their organizational responsibilities.
Sharma asserted that strengthening the party structure at the booth level remains the key to the BJP’s continued success and expansion.
Workers must contribute beyond politics, says Dr Sudha Yadav:
Member of the BJP Central Parliamentary Board, Dr. Sudha Yadav, addressed the participants on the topic of worker development.
She stated that a BJP worker’s role extends beyond political activities and includes active participation in social service, public engagement, and nation-building efforts.
Encouraging workers to pursue continuous learning and self-improvement, she emphasized the importance of staying connected with society and contributing positively to community development.
