Nitish Kumar continues Samridhi Yatra, launches development schemes in Saharsa and Khagaria.

Patna, March 13, 2026: As part of the Samridhi Yatra, CM Nitish Kumar visited Saharsa and Khagaria on Friday, launching and reviewing several development projects aimed at boosting infrastructure and welfare initiatives in the region.
Nitish Kumar’s public interaction in Saharsa:
During his visit to Saharsa, the Chief Minister participated in a Jan Samvad (Public Interaction) program held at Saharsa Stadium, where he interacted with local residents and thanked them for their support.
He congratulated the people for the benefits being delivered through various government schemes and urged citizens to work collectively for the overall development of Bihar.

Nitish Kumar also inspected departmental stalls showcasing development schemes, interacted with beneficiaries to review project progress, distributed cheques to beneficiaries under welfare schemes, and inaugurated and laid foundation stones for several projects in the district through remote control.
Nitish Kumar also reviewed the progress of the Road Over Bridge (ROB) and other projects announced earlier during the Pragati Yatra, directing officials to ensure timely completion.
Development push in Khagaria:
After concluding his program in Saharsa, Nitish Kumar reached Khagaria as part of the ongoing Samridhi Yatra.
In Khagaria, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stones for 35 development schemes and inaugurated 284 completed projects and dedicated them to the public.
He also inspected several key infrastructure works, including the construction of a bypass road, a sluice gate at Khagaria City, a protection embankment, and other ongoing development projects.
During the visit, the Chief Minister sought detailed updates from officials and issued instructions to ensure smooth implementation.

Nitish Kumar also visited various departmental exhibition stalls set up by the district administration, where he interacted directly with beneficiaries to assess the impact of government programs.
On the occasion, he distributed cheques to beneficiaries and presented tricycles to persons with disabilities.
During these two events, several prominent leaders, including Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, Water Resource Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary, MP Dinesh Chandra Yadav, MLC Lalan Saraf and other senior officials were present.
