Patna June 1: The election commission has registered 42.95% polling in Bihar’s 8 Lok Sabha constituencies till 3 PM on Saturday.
The polling for the seventh and final phase is currently underway in Karakat, Patliputra, Arrah, Buxar, Sasaram, Jahanabad, Nalanda and Patna Sahib on Saturday and 134 candidates are in the fray in these constituencies.
The election commission has registered a maximum of 49.89% in the Patliputra Lok Sabha constituency followed by 45.90% in Buxar and 45.076% in Karakat till 3 pm.
Besides them, 44.80% polling registered in Sasaram, 43.46% in Jahanabad, 40.98% registered in Arrah, 38.49% in Nalanda and 36.85% in Patna Sahib Lok Sabha constituencies.
A by-election is also underway in the Agiaon assembly constituency where the election commission has registered 38.30% till 3 pm on Saturday.
