Tejashwi Yadav expressed ignorance of the warrant issued against Lalu Prasad Yadav.

Patna, April 6, 2024: Former deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday said he had no knowledge of the arrest warrant issued against RJD national president Lalu Prasad Yadav in a 27-year-old case under the Arms Act.

Tejashwi Yadav was campaigning for the RJD candidate in Jamui:

Former deputy chief minister, accompanied by Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani, had gone to Jamui to campaign for RJD candidate Archana Ravidas.

Speaking to reporters at Patna airport while returning from Jamui, Tejashwi said, “I have no knowledge on this matter.”

The MP-MLA court of Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh) issued an arrest warrant against Lalu Prasad on Friday in connection with the decades-old case.

Tejashwi Yadav, however, exuded confidence about the performance of the Mhagathbandhan in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Tejashwi Yadav expresses confidence in winning all Lok Sabha seats in the first phase:

“The candidates of Mahagathbandhan will win all four seats in the first phase. The INDIA bloc is united in Bihar, and we will win all 40 seats,” he said.

Mukesh Sahani also echoed similar confidence, claiming that the grand alliance would sweep all constituencies in the state.
