Ranchi, April 21, 2024: The INDIA bloc staged a massive show of strength in Ranchi on Sunday. Tejashwi Yadav, Leader of Opposition in the Bihar assembly, claimed he has “single-handedly taken on the BJP” in Bihar despite their massive campaign machinery.
Tejashwi Yadav was addressing a massive Ulgulan Nyay Maha Rally at Prabhat Tara ground, where senior opposition leaders united to target Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP.
“The slogan of the BJP to cross 400 was flopped in the first phase of elections in Bihar. If Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand fight with unity, the BJP will never return to power at the Centre,” Tejashwi Yadav said.
The RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav mocked the BJP’s high-decibel campaign:
“BJP leaders are campaigning with 30 helicopters in Bihar, while I have turned my helicopter into a tractor.”
He also attacked MP Modi over unfulfilled promises.
Jobs–“He promised 2 crore jobs for youths every year but delivered none.”
Black Money—“He talked about bringing back black money and depositing Rs 15 lakh in every account, but nothing came to the people. Instead, only the BJP’s coffers were filled through electoral bonds.”
Economy—“Narendra Modi has increased poverty and price rise while misleading people with jumlebazi.”
INDIA bloc unity seen in Ranchi:
The rally saw the participation of top opposition leaders, including.
Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, Shibu Soren (JMM patriarch), Farooq Abdullah (NH), Akhilesh Yadav (SP chief), Sanjay Singh (AAP), Dipankar Bhattacharya (CPI-ML), Priyanka Chaturvedi (Shiv Sena-UBT), Kalpana Soren and Champai Soren(JMM), Sunita Kejriwal (wife of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal).
All leaders attacked the Modi government on issues of unemployment, inflation, misuse of central agencies, and threats to democracy, while appealing for a united fight against the BJP in 2024.
