Patna, April 10, 2024: With Lok Sabha election campaigns at their peak in Bihar, RJD leader and former deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of his hectic campaign trail on Tuesday evening.

Tejashwi Yadav uploaded the post on social media:

Posting a video on social media platform X, Tejashwi Yadav showed how he and Vikasheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani managed to squeeze in a quick lunch amid scorching heat and packed schedules. The video, dated April 8, has gone viral online.

In the clip, both leaders are seen eating Chechra fish, Chapati, onion, chillies, and lassi aboard a helicopter.

Explaining the moment, Tejashwi said, “Mukesh Sahani brought lunch comprising fish, chapatti, onion, chillies and lassi. During the campaign, we hardly get 10-15 minutes for lunch, so we’re eating Chechra fish on board. This fish is popular in the Mithilanchal and Kosi regions of Bihar. I’m thankful to Mukesh Sahani for bringing such a delicious meal.”

He added that they were also carrying Sattu and Bel juice to stay hydrated amid the heat wave conditions.

Mukesh Sahani targeted the NDA:

Taking a jibe at NDA leaders, Mukesh Sahani quipped, “We are eating fish, chapatti, onion and chillies—and they must be feeling chilly. What should we do if they find it spicy? We are fighting strongly for social justice.”
