Superstar Khesari Lal Yadav asked candidates to opt for self-reliance action on the BPSC 70th exam protest.

Patna January 4, 2025: The ongoing agitation of BPSC candidates has garnered widespread attention, with Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav weighing in on the issue.
Through his social media platform X, Khesari Lal Yadav criticized both the government and political parties “Handling the situation while urging candidates to focus on self-reliance and thoughtful action in their pursuit of justice.”
Khesari Lal Yadav’s Appeal:
In his post, Yadav wrote, “Na Falanwa Kam Aai Na Chilanawa Kaam Aai’’
(Neither this one nor that one will come to your help), emphasizing that candidates should not depend on political or external support.
He further stated, “Instead of valuing your emotions, people will exploit them. They will satisfy your emotions until you either create a new leader or lose strength.”
His advice to the candidates was clear: “Strengthen your stick and your flag in every distinct. And yes, do not become a fool by carrying a lollipop. The fight is for your rights.”
Accompanying his message was a video showing candidates on a hunger strike, with one participant tearfully pleading for justice, sharing that six protesters have been hospitalized, and expressing concern for their families.
Protest and political reactions:
The BPSC candidates, on hunger strike for over three weeks, are demanding a re-conduct of the 70 preliminary examinations. They allege issues of fairness and irregularities during the initial exam.
The government has reiterated its decision not to cancel the exam but has allowed a re-exam for candidates affected by the disruption at the Bapu examination centre on December 13, 2024
Political parties like RJD Congress and Lift parties are supporting the protesters, aligning with their demands, joining the movement and expressing solidarity.
