Patna, May 3, 2026: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, currently on a visit to New Delhi, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Sunday evening in what is being seen as a crucial development ahead of the much-anticipated cabinet expansion in the state.
While the meeting has officially been described as a courtesy call, sources indicate that it held significant political importance.

Sources suggest that Amit Shah’s approval of the final list of ministers will play a decisive role in the process.
Following the meeting, Samrat Choudhary shared a post on X, stating that he received guidance from Amit Shah on key issues such as security, good governance, and the overall development of Bihar.
