Ravishankar Prasad said Rahul Gandhi is afraid of Amethi

Patna: Former law minister and BJP MP of Patna Sahib Ravishankar Prasad said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is afraid of Amethi Lok Sabha constituency.
The statement of Prasad came after Rahul Gandhi filed the nomination from Wayanad Lok Sabha seat in Kerala on Wednesday.
“The family members of Rahul Gandhi contested the Amethi Lok Sabha constituency in the past and were elected as well but why is Rahul Gandhi afraid of that constituency? Why Rahul Gandhi is running out from Amethi. Why is he contesting from Wayanad ? What kind of politics he wants to do in the country by adopting the policy of appeasement.”
“People of the country know how to respond to such leaders. The path of Wayanad will turn difficult this time for Rahul Gandhi,” Prasad said.
When asked about dynastic politics in BJP, Prasad said that he would not comment on it.
“I never object to any ticket given to any member of the family but I must say that RJD is a dynastic party. Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family owns the party. One member of the family became chief minister and other deputy chief minister or MP. All party members are in politics,” he said.
Earlier, Tejashwi Yadav took a dig at PM Narendra Modi and said that he is coming to Jamui for the campaign of a dynastic candidate. He also said that PM Narendra Modi should speak about the dynastic candidate of NDA.
PM Narendra Modi will come to Jamui on April 4 to start the election campaign in Bihar. He will campaign for NDA candidate Arun Bharti. He is a brother-in-law of LJPR president Chirag Paswan. The party has given him a ticket to contest the Lok Sabha election from Jamui.
