Patna, March 27, 2026: On the occasion of Ram Navami, grand processions were organized across Patna, drawing massive crowds and turning the city into a vibrant hub of devotion and celebration.
The focal point of the festivities was Shri Ram Chowk at Dak Bunglow Crossing, where tableaux from 52 Puja committees began arriving one after another.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, along with his son Nishant Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, and several other NDA leaders, were present on the dais. BJP National President Nitin Nabin welcomed the leaders and participants.
Nitish Kumar facilitated the tableaux of Ram Navami:
During the event, the Chief Minister facilitated the tableaux, adding to the ceremonial grandeur. It is estimated that over five lakh devotees gathered at the Dak Bungliow area, making this year’s celebration one of the largest ever.
Adding to the significance of the occasion, actor Arun Govil—renowned for portraying Lord Ram in the iconic TV series Ramayan—was present on the dais. He was joined by BJP leader and Bhojpuri singer Manoj Tiwari.

The event witnessed elaborate arrangements, including the deployment of around 1,500 police personnel to maintain law and order.
The Dak Bunglow intersection was magnificently decorated with LED lighting, laser effects, and digital projections. Drones showered flower petals over devotees, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
Cultural performance from across the section:
Cultural performances added further charm to the celebrations, featuring saints from Ayodhya, musical troupes from South India, a Damru team from Varanasi, a Ganga Aarti group, bands from Mumbai, and dance groups from Jharkhand.
Massive statues—ranging from 20 to 25 feet in height—depicting Lord Ram, Lord Shiva, and Lord Hanuman were installed, becoming a major attraction for the crowd.
Despite the scorching heat earlier in the day, a sudden change in weather with strong winds and light drizzle brought relief, making the atmosphere pleasant for the devotees.

This marked the first time Nitin Nabin led the Ram Navami event at Dak Bunglow as the BJP National President. He expressed confidence that this year’s celebration would set new records and create history.
The Ram Navami celebrations are expected to continue late into the night, with a steady stream of devotees visiting Shri Ram Chowk to witness the grand spectacle.
