Patna, August 23, 2025: Under the ongoing Bihar Badlaav Yatra, Jan Suraaj founder Prashant Kishor addressed a large public gathering at the Pani Tanki Ground, Dulhin Bazar, in the Paliganj Assembly constituency of Patna district.
In a strong attack on RJD chief PM Narendra Modi, Kishor said: “I have been walking from village to village in Bihar for the last 3 years. People voted for Modi for a 56-inch chest, but their own children’s chest is only 12 inches. They don’t have proper clothes or slippers. No leader will worry about your children—you have to.”
He added that Lalu Prasad Yadav ensured his son would get power despite not passing Class 9, the children or ordinary Biharis. Even after completing matriculation, graduation and post-graduation, they are struggling for jobs.
Prashant Kishor criticized PM Modi and CM Nitish:
Prashant Kishor alleged that Bihar’s youth are being forced to migrate because of the misplaced priorities of national and state leaders.
“People voted for Modi for a temple—he built it. Voted for Nitish in the name of caste—he conducted the caste survey. But factories are being set up in Gujarat, not Bihar. Bihar’s youth are working there for just Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000 a month,” he said.
Major promises to people of Bihar:
Making bold promises ahead of the upcoming polls, Prashant Kishor said, “From December 2025, every man and woman above 60 years will receive a monthly pension of Rs 2,000. Until government schools are improved, fees for children below 15 years in private schools will be paid by the state, ensuring access to English-medium education for the poor and 50 lakh youth, who migrated outside Bihar for jobs, will be brought back and provided employment of Rs 10,000 to Rs 12,000 within the state.
“This will be the last Diwali and Chhath of Bihar’s misery. After this, no youth of Dulhin Bazar, Paliganj or Patna will have to leave their homes for survival,” he declared.
