Prashant Kishor criticized PM Narendra Modi ahead of his 2-day Bihar visit.

Patna, May 28, 2025: Jan Suraj founder Prashant Kishor launched a fierce political offensive ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Bihar on May 29, accusing the central government of systematically neglecting and turning Bihar into a “factory of laborer’s.”

Prashant Kishor alleged centre for discriminating against Gujarat and Bihar.

Addressing a press conference during his ‘Bihar Badlaav Yatra’ in Siwan, Kishor questioned the priorities of the central government.

“PM Modi announces Shramik Trains in Bihar and factories in Gujarat. Why is Gujarat getting bullet trains, solar plants, GIFT City, while Bihar only gets platforms to send off its youth as labourers?”

He emphasized that Bihar’s youth are forced to migrate due to the absence of local employment opportunities, and demanded concrete answers about factory development and the revival of closed sugar mills in the state.

Prashant Kishor reminded the public of the Rs.1.25 lakh crore special package announced by PM Modi during a rally in Ara in 2015.

“It has been 10 years since that announcement. The PM Must answer was the money ever sent? And if sent, was it looted by the Bihar government in alliance with the Centre?” he asked.

He alleged that the JDU-BJP alliance failed to implement any significant infrastructure development in Bihar using that package.

Criticism of PM Modi’s visit and government spending:

Prashant Kishor further criticized the timing of PM Modi’s upcoming visit, claiming it’s election-motivated.

“PM Modi is visiting now because elections are due. But he should not campaign using the money of Bihar’s poor. This is an insult to their suffering,” Kishor said.

Targeting Nitish Kumar: “Not fit to lead”:

In a sharp critique of Bihar CM Nitish Kumar, Prashant Kishor said: “Nitish Kumar is mentally and physically unfit to lead the state. The government is being run by corrupt ministers and unaccountable officers, while law and order is collapsing.”

He cited rising crime and institutional corruption as evidence of the breakdown in governance.

Kishor reiterated that the ‘Bihar Badlaav Yatra’, the birthplace of Jayaprakash Narayan aims to realize JP’s dream of total revolution.

“There was a change in power after JP’s movement, but no change in the system. Jan Suraj is here to change that,” Kishor said.

As part of the campaign, ‘Signature of Badlaav’ is being conducted to gather public opinion on the government’s unfulfilled promises and corruption.
