Prashant Kishor launches scathing attack on Nitish Kumar, PM Modi, and Rahul Gandhi over Bihar’s plight.

Patna, June 5, 2025: Jan Suraj founder and political strategist Prashant Kishor launched a fierce political offensive on Thursday, targeting Bihar Chief Minister Narendra Modi, and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi over issues of governance, migration, and perceived disrespect towards Bihari’s.
Nitish Kumar mentally unfit to lead Bihar: Prashant Kishor’s allegation:
In a shocking statement, Prashant Kishor claimed that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is suffering from a serious mental illness and is no longer fit to govern the state. Referring to the Muzaffarpur Dalit girl case, Kishor said:
“An incident more horrific than the Nirbhaya case takes place in Bihar, and yet not a single word comes from the Chief Minister. This silence proves that Nitish Kumar is not mentally sound.”
Kishor further challenged the government to publicly release the health details of the CM and dared Nitish Kumar to file a defamation case if his health was not in question.
Blames PM Modi for Bihar’s industrial backwardness:
Prashant Kishor also accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of deliberately keeping Bihar underdeveloped.
“Bihar has been deliberately turned into a state of labourers so that cheap workforce can be supplied to factories in Gujarat and other industrial states,” Kishor alleged.
He criticized the lack of industrialization in Bihar, stating that no major factory has been set up in the state during Modi’s 11-year tenure as PM.
Drawing comparisons, he asked: “Why don’t you see laborers from Himachal or Punjab working in Kashmir or Tamil Nadu? Why is it always Bihari youth working across the country for low wages?”
Prashant Kishor argued that the low wage expectations of Bihari laborer’s were being exploited, and the state’s youth were being forced to migrate due to a lack of local employment opportunities.
Attacks Rahul Gandhi over Revanth Reddy’s comment:
Prashant Kishor also took aim at congress leader Rahul Gandhi, demanding that he clarify his stand on the controversial remark made by Telangana CM Revanth Reddy, who had said that “labour is in the DNA of Biharis.”
“If Rahul Gandhi disagrees with this insulting remark, why has he not taken action against Revanth Reddy? Why hasn’t he apologized to the people of Bihar?” Kishor asked.
He added that mere visits and speeches won’t Rahul Gandhi unless he addresses the disrespect shown to Bihari’s by leaders within his own party.
