MP CM Mohan Yadav said the Congress and TMC leaders are developing Jinnah’s mentality.

Patna, May 23, 2024: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Thursday accused the Congress and Trinamool Congress (TMC) of promoting what he called “Jinnah’s divisive mentality,” claiming that such politics was responsible for the partition of India.

“The Congress is doing divisive work in Karnataka, and Mamta Banerjee is doing the same in West Bengal. The people of Congress and TMC are developing Jinnah’s divisive mentality. Due to such a mentality, the country was divided,” MohanYadav said while addressing a gathering in Gaya district of Bihar.

Mohan Yadav referred to the recent ruling of the Kolkata High Court:

He made the remarks while referring to a recent Kolkata High Court ruling that stated reservation should be based on caste, not religion.

Mohan Yadav further alleged that the Congress has historically discriminated against Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Other Backward Classes (OBC).

“A Congress leader himself admitted that Congressmen have harmed SC, ST, and OBC communities. Injustice was done to them during the tenures of Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, and Manmohan Singh. I demand that Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi apologize for this,” he said.

The Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had always stood by the backward communities.

“The Congress never gave constitutional recognition to the OBC Commission. It was only under PM Modi’s leadership that it was granted,” Yadav said.

Mohan Yadav also criticized Tejashwi Yadav:

Taking a dig at RJD leader Tejasahwi Yadav, who recently cut a cake aboard a helicopter with VIP chief Mikesh Sahani after completing 200 campaign rallies, the BJP leader said.

Instead of cutting cakes, Tejashwi Yadav should focus on the election results. We crossed 300 seats in 2019, and we will cross 400 in 2024. After five phases, it’s clear that the NDA is winning.
