Dilip Jaiswal criticized Rahul Gandhi on his 1-day Bihar visit and said wherever he goes, Congress loses elections.

Patna, June 7, 2025: BJP Bihar President Dilip Jaiswal launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, claiming that his presence during election campaigns only brings defeat to the Congress party.
Dilip Jaiswal made the remarks while addressing the media in Patna, a day after Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the Gaya and Nalanda districts of Bihar.
“Rahul Gandhi went to Haryana, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh and Congress lost the elections there. Now he has come to Bihar, and Congress will lose again. He will drown the ship of the Congress party in Bihar,” Jaiswal stated.
Dilip Jaiswal responds to Gandhi’s criticism of PM and CM:
Rahul Gandhi had used his Bihar tour to fiercely criticize Prime Minister Narendra Modi, alleging that the PM Narendra Modi “surrendered” under pressure from US President Donald Trump during the Indo-Pakistan military standoff last month, in reference to Operation Sindoor and the subsequent ceasefire.
Gandhi also labeled Bihar as the “crime capital of India,” blaming both the central and state governments.

Dilip Jaiswal dismissed the allegations and accused Gandhi of political opportunism.
“Rahul Gandhi talks about backward caste rights, but he should first explain why the Congress suppressed the Kaka Kalelkar Commission report for 30 years,” Jaiswal said.
“Why wasn’t the Backward Classes Commission given constitutional status during Congress rule? This shows the party’s double standards,” Jaiswal said.
He added that Congress has historically deceived backward and extremely backward communities, contradicting its recent narrative on social justice and caste-based census.
Praise for Nitish Kumar’s leadership:
Dilip Jaiswal strongly defended Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, saying the state has been in rapid development since 2005.
“Nitish Kumar always thinks about Bihar’s progress. He regularly takes our class for one and a half to two hours, teaching us how to improve development. He is like a teacher who guides us in building a better Bihar,” Jaiswal remarked.

As political temperatures rise ahead of elections, the war of words between rival parties continues to intensify, with issues like law and order, social justice, and governance dominating the discourse in Bihar.
