Patna August 14: Lalu Prasad Yadav, RJD national president, slammed the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government for failing to control crime incidents in Bihar.

The veteran RJD leader uploaded a post on the social media account X and said in Hindi “Bihar Me Apradh Se Machi Hai Chikh-Pukar, Aisa Hai Bihar Me BJP-JDU Ka Chaupat Raj” (There are hue and cry due to crime in Bihar, due to the bad rule of BJP-JDU).

Lalu Prasad Yadav also uploaded a 1.29-minute video post and mentioned several incidents of crime in the last few days.

Lalu Prasad Yadav and other RJD leaders are regularly criticizing the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government in Bihar and regularly raising the crime incidents that are frequently taking place in Bihar.

Earlier, Tejashwi Yadav uploaded a post on his social media platform X and mentioned 43 crime incidents including murder, rape, gang rape, loot and other incidents.

He alleged that the government and administration are preoccupied with corruption, bribery and looting, allowing criminals to operate with impunity.

“The frequent crime incidents including rape, loot and killing innocent people in Bihar is alarming here and the most shocking part is a government which is shielding criminals instead of enforcing law and order on them,” Tejashwi Yadav said.

Tejashwi Yadav has escalated his criticism of the Nitish Kumar government, detailing major crime incidents across Bihar, which he claims are protected by those in power. Yadav highlighted specific cases to underscore the state’s deteriorating law and order situation.

He cited the murder of a JD (U) leader in Bettiah, the stoning death of a youth in Muzaffarpur and the killing of another young man after being kidnapped in Chapra.

Additionally, he pointed out that even law enforcement officers are not safe, noting the attack on police personnel in Begusarai and the brutal assault of a mining officer in Supaul by criminals.
