Kanhaiya Kumar criticized the BJP for “Dynastic Politics” allegation and asked about the qualification of Jay Shah.

Patna, April 10, 2025: Congress youth leader Kanhaiya Kumar launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) and Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday, accusing the ruling party of engaging in dynastic politics while targeting opposition leaders on the same charge.

Speaking to the media during his ‘Palayan Rako,

Naukri Do’ Padayatra in Patna, Kumar questioned the appointment of Jay Shah, son of Amit Shah, as the Chairman of the BCCI.

“What is the qualification of Jay Shah? Is he a cricketer or a UPSC- qualified officer? BJP is the

Biggest practitioner of dynastic politics, yet they only attack the opposition on this issue,” he said.

Kanhaiya Kumar alleged BJP is diverting people from real issues:

Kanhaiya Kumar also alleged that the BJP’s focus on the Waqf law was a deliberate strategy to divert attention from core issues like inflation, unemployment, and migration.

“They’ve been discussing the Waqf law for the last 15 days, setting up a narrative that they will take land from the Waqf Board and give it to poor Muslims. But the truth is, they don’t even allow Muslims to offer Namaz on their own rooftops. So how can anyone believe they will give them land?” he asked.

Highlighting contradictions in the government’s claims, Kumar added:

“They say India’s economy is now $5 trillion, yet they provide 5 kg of food grains to 80 crore people. Where is these five trillion dollars?

Is it the homes of those receiving ration?”

Kanhaiya Kumar asked the government to present data about land purchasers in Kashmir:

He further criticized the BJP for using Article 370, CAA, NRC, and now Waqf Board issues as distractions from ground realities.

“Tell us how many people have actually purchased land in Kashmir since Article 370 was abrogated Can they provide data from the Valley?” Kumar questioned.

As part of his ongoing campaign, Kanhaiya Kumar walked through the streets of Patna on Thursday. He also visited the Takht Shri Harmandir Sahib Gurudwara, offering prayers and interacting with the local community.
