JP Nadda will take the review meeting of the membership drive in Patna.

Patna, September 28, 2024: JP Nadda, the BJP national president and union health and family welfare minister, arrived in Patna on Saturday to review his party’s ongoing membership drive.

The BJP launched membership on September 2, 2024, with a goal to add 10 crore new members to the party nationwide.

JP Nadda arrived at Patna Airport around 10 a.m. via special aircraft on Saturday. He was welcomed by the senior leaders of the BJP including state president Dilip Jaiswal, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary Vijay Sinha and others.

Following his arrival, Nadda paid respects to the freedom fighters at Sapt Murti near the Bihar assembly and then proceeded to the BJP office on Veer Chand to meet with party leaders for a review of the membership campaign. The BJP leaders are already claiming that 25 lakh new members have joined the party.

His visit is crucial as the party prepares for the 2025 Bihar assembly elections.

This visit follows his earlier trip to Patna on September 6, 2024, where he inaugurated five super-specialty hospitals in Patna, Bhagalpur, Gaya, Darbhanga and Muzaffarpur.

At that time, Nadda also participated in the membership drive, encouraging party workers to ramp up their efforts.
