Dilip Jaiswal and Neeraj Kumar criticized Tejashwi for his Dubai tour amid flood.
Patna October 3, 2024: Dilip Jaiswal, the state president of BJP Bihar unit, has sharply criticized RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav, for his absence during the ongoing flood crisis in the state.
Dilip Jaiswal’s remarks came as Tejashwi Yadav vacationing in Dubai with his wife Rajshree Yadav, at a time when Bihar is grappling with severe floods.
Despite being out of the country, Yadav recently criticized Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on social media platform X, questioning why the Bihar floods had not been declared a national disaster by the central government.

In response to Tejashwi Yadav’s remarks, Dilip Jaiswal dismissed them, sarcastically stating, “Please search him where he is,” and further criticized Yadav for being absent during such a critical time.
“While the people of Bihar are struggling with the flood situation, Yadav is vacationing abroad, implying a lack of concern for the crisis at hand,” he said.
Dilip Jaiswal also highlighted that this is not an isolated incident, pointing out that Tejashwi Yadav was absent from Bihar during the COVID-19 pandemic as well.
In addition to the criticism from BJP state president Dilip Jaiswal, JD(U) MLC Neeraj Kumar also took aim at Tejashwi Yadav condemning his decision to take a foreign trip amid Bihar’s severe flood crisis.
Neeraj Kumar accused Yadav of being out of touch with the problems faced by his constituents in Raghopur, the assembly constituency Yadav represents in Bihar assembly.
Kumar remarked, “Tejashwi Yadav is young and his knowledge is limited. He doesn’t even understand the situation in his own constituency.”
He highlighted the extensive efforts made by the Nitish Kumar government to provide relief in Raghopur, listing the establishment of 13 rehabilitation camps, the provision of food to nearly 9487 people through community kitchen, as well as medical aid and boat services to help those affected by floods.
Both Dilip Jaiswal and Neeraj Kumar underscore the gravity of the flood situation in Bihar, criticizing Tejashwi Yadav for neglecting his duties and vacationing abroad during this critical period.
Their comments reflect increasing political friction over the opposition leader’s absence and his perceived lack of involvement in addressing the flood crisis.
