Patna: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar ruled out the claim of Tejashwi Yadav for taking credit of jobs being given to common people in the grand alliance government. He said that the jobs were given by his government and he (Tejashwi Yadav) has no role in it.

“I had given space to Lalu Prasad Yadav to stay in the government of Bihar twice. Now, his son is saying that he has done a lot of work. Providing jobs to the common people is the priority of our government right from the beginning. We were doing it for a long time. During the grand alliance government too, we brought a large number of recruitments and had given the jobs to youths. As he (Tejashwi Yadav) kept talking nonsense and I threw him out of power,” Kumar said while addressing a rally in Bihar’s Nawada district on Friday.

Nitish Kumar said that he made the mistake twice when he went into a grand alliance. Now, he will stay permanently in NDA.        

CM Nitish Kumar started the Lok Sabha campaign in Nawada and appealed to the people to support BJP candidate Vivek Thakur.

CM Nitish Kumar also described the governments of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi of Bihar as well.

“When they were in power, there was a big law and order problem at that time in Bihar. The people of Bihar were in fear of stepping out from their houses in the evening. There were no roads. Girls used to leave study after class 5. When I came to power in 2005, I fixed all these things. Now, the roads connectivity in Bihar is good, law and order situation, education and health system and other things are also improved immensely here,” Kumar said.

During the speech, Nitish Kumar also became a victim of slip of tongue once when he said NDA will win more than 4000 seats of Lok Sabha in the country. However, he immediately rectified it after realizing the mistake and said NDA will win more than 400 seats in the country.
