CM Nitish Kumar reviews facilities for the 359th Prakash Parv of Guru Govind Singh Ji in Patna Sahib.

Patna, December 26, 2025: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reviewed the facilities made for the 359th Prakash Parv celebration of Guru Govind Singh Ji Maharaj in Patna Sahib on Friday.
During the inspection, Nitish Kumar assessed arrangements related to accommodation, cleanliness, security, and other facilities for devotees arriving from the country and abroad.
Prakash Prav is already underway, and it will conclude on December 27.
The Chief Minister directed officials to monitor all arrangements at the micro level to ensure that no devotee faces any inconvenience during the Prakash Parv.
Nitish Kumar also inspected Prakash Punj and the watchtower:
During the review, Nitish Kumar inspected the Prakash Parv (Light Tower) constructed in Patna Sahib.
He observed the spiritual teachings, exhibits, and artistic representations of Sikhism displayed at the multi-purpose light centre and garden project.
The Chief Minister also inspected the under-construction watchtower being built in front of the Prakash Punj and instructed officials to complete the work at the earliest.

He said that once completed, the watchtower would offer devotees a better view of the Prakash Panj.
The surrounding complex is being developed as a green and attractive space, featuring a pond, walking paths and seating arrangements for devotees and local residents.
Following this, Nitish Kumar inspected a newly constructed OP Sah Community Hall in Malsalami, Patna City.
He took detailed information about the fatalities available for devotees and issued necessary instructions regarding cleanliness and security.
Devotees present at the site expressed their gratitude to the Chief Minister, praising the arrangements.
Nitish Kumar visited Kangan Ghat:
Later, Nitish Kumar visited Kangan Ghat, where he inspected the tent city set up for devotees.
Officials informed him that a multi-level parking facility will also be constructed at the site to manage the expected rush.
The Chief Minister emphasized that special attention must be given to the comfort and convenience of all devotees during the Prakash Parv.

He said that extensive work has been done to improve facilities at religious sites across the state.
“Patna is a very important place for Sikh devotees from all over the world. It is a matter of pride for Bihar that Guru Govind Singh Ji Maharaj was born here. Devotees coming from outside should return with happy memories,” he said.
