Patna, September 1, 2025: The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has officially announced the date for the 71st Combined Preliminary competitive examination.
The exam will be conducted across all districts of Bihar on September 13, 2025 (Saturday, from 12 noon to 2 PM.
The notification, issued from the BPSC’s Patna office and signed by the controller of examinations, instructed candidates to report to their allotted centres on time and strictly follow examination guidelines.
BPSC will issue admit cards this week:
According to BPSC, admit cards will be uploaded soon on the Commission’s official website bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
Candidates will be able to download them by logging in with their details.
The admit card will also provide information about the allotted examination centre and district.
The commission has also cautioned candidates against fake news and has appealed to them to rely only on official notifications and the Commission’s verified X handle.
Exam pattern:
The examination will be conducted in an offline method with 150 objective multiple-choice questions, and its duration will be 120 minutes. The total marks of the examination are 150.
Candidates who qualify for the preliminary examination will be eligible for the mains examination and subsequently the interview round.
The final merit list will be prepared after completion of all stages.
Through this examination, the commission aims to fill 1298 posts across various departments of the Bihar government.
