Prashant Kishor attacks Modi, Nitish and Lalu in Bhojpur: “School Bag is a symbol of change”.

Patna, June 26, 2025: Prashant Kishor, the architect of Janu Suraj Party launched a scathing attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav during a series of public meetings in Barahra, Koilwar and Ara blocks of Bhojpur district on Thursday.
While addressing the public as part of his ongoing Bihar Badlaav Yatra, Kishor said that the school bag, the newly allotted election symbol of the Jan Suraj party, represents hope, education, and a way out of Bihar’s cycle of poverty, illiteracy and unemployment.
“For 30-35 years, Bihar has been ruled by Lalu Prasad and Nitish Kumar. They turned this state into a land of labourers. Our children are working in factories in Gujarat. Now, the school bag will bring the real change,” Kishor declared.

Prashant Kishor received a massive public support in Bhojpur:
On the way from Patna to Bhojpur, Prashant Kishor received a grand welcome from locals and Jan Suraj supporters.
He was greeted with drums, trumpets, flower garlands and enthusiastic crowds at Kayamnagar Bazar, Bakhorapur, Gundi Bazar, Saraiya Bazar and several other locations.
Prashant Kishor: Vote for your children:
In his fiery address, Kishor asked a pointed question: When the vote is yours then why are the factories being built in Gujarat and not in Bihar? Why should our children go there as labourers?” Kishor asked.

He called on voters to reject traditional political dynasties: This time, say bye-bye to Nitish Kumar. Even if Prime Minister Modi asks for votes for him, don’t give it. This time, it’s time to vote for your children’s future, not Lalu, Nitish and Modi.”
Rules of people, not of politicians:
Prashant Kishor made it clear that Jan Suraj stands for people-centric governance.
“Do not vote based on leader’s faces or party flags. Vote looking at your children’s future—their education and jobs. Bihar needs to be ruled by the people, not by career politicians,” he said.
Thanking the Election Commission for allotting the school bag symbol to his party, he reiterated:
This bag is not just a symbol—it’s the promise of New Bihar, where children go to school, not to work.”
