Nitish Kumar will start 1st phase of the Pragati Yatra from West Champaran and will give great bonanzas.

Patna December 23, 2024: Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar is all set to start Pragati Yatra from Bagaha in West Champaran district on Monday.

In preparation for this high-profile visit, efforts have been amplified across the board, involving meticulous planning and widespread participation from both officials and local communities. People are expecting big infrastructural bonanzas from him.

Security arrangements and preparation for Nitish Kumar’s Yatra:

Approximately 500 police personnel and 150 officers and duty magistrates have been deployed to ensure a seamless and secure visit.

The district administration has constructed two helipads in Kadmahiya village under Santpur block, designated for the Chief Minister’s helicopter landing. Earlier, Nitish Kumar’s Yatra was proposed in the name of Mahila Samvad Yatra in Bihar.

The administrative machinery has been working round the clock, focusing on both logistics and safety.

“We have made a comprehensive security to ensure the smooth execution of the Yatra. The district administration is leaving no stone unturned to overseeing the preparation,” said Sushant Kumar Saroj, the SP of West Champaran.

Community engagement for the Nitish Kumar’s Pragati Yatra:

Women in the region are actively involved in preparing for the CM’s arrival, showcasing handicrafts made by Anganwadi workers and the Jeevika groups.

The enthusiasm is palpable as the visit promises to bring visibility and support to local initiatives.

Several developmental projects, pending for years, are being expedited and completed in a matter of weeks. This swift action has sparked optimism and joy among the residents.

Due to Nitish Kumkar Yatra, efforts to rejuvenate Santpur Ghothwa village near Valmikinagar Tiger Reserve, have gained momentum, symbolizing the government’s focus on integrating underdeveloped regions into the mainstream.

These efforts are being closely monitored by the local authority.

Ahead of the Yatra, Janata Dal United has launched a publicity campaign. Posters with the tagline “When it comes to Bihar, the name is only Nitish Kumar’s” have been displayed prominently across Patna and other districts, emphasizing the chief minister’s leadership and contribution to the progress of the state.

The Pragati Yatra aims to underscore the government’s commitment to growth and connectivity while fostering closer interaction with citizens and showcasing tangible results of ongoing schemes.

After the visit to West Champaran, Nitish Kumar stays overnight in Valmikinagar Tiger Reserve and will go to Eats Champaran on December 24. As the Christmas Holiday is on December 25, there is no program on that day. He will visit Sitamarhi and Sheohar on December 26, followed by his visit to Muzaffarpur on December 27 and culminate his first phase of Yatra in Vaishali on December 28. Nitish Kumar will return to Patna on the night of December 28.
