Amit Shah said the Lalu-Rabri government had transformed Bihar into Jungle Raj.
Patna April 21: Union home minister Amit Shah targeted RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav on Sunday and said that he forced Bihar into Jungle Raj.
“During the tenure of Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi government, they had transformed Bihar into Jungle Raj. People belonging to poor, backward caste and OBC were oppressed at that time. When the NDA government came into power, then it was ended,” Amit Shah said while addressing a gathering in Bihar’s Katihar district on Sunday.
He appealed to the people of Katihar to vote for the JD-U candidate Dulal Charndra Goswami. He is contesting against Congress candidate Tariq Anwar. The polling in Katihar will take place in the second phase on April 26.
“Congress and Lalu Prasad Yadav were giving slogans of removing poverty but it was not removed. PM Narendra Modi brought 25 crore people out of poverty in the last 10 years,” he said.
“Today, Lalu Prasad Yadav and his son are sitting in the lap of Congress. This is the same Congress party which had objected to the Kaka Kalelkar committee report and mandal commission related to the reservation of backward caste people,” Amit Shah said.
PM Narendra Modi finished naxalism and cracked down on terrorism in the country. He had initiated the air strike and surgical strike in Pakistan within 10 days after the Uri and Pulwama attacks. During the Congress government, militants from Pakistan explode bombs here. Now, these things have ended in this government,” he said.
“Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge said what Rajasthan and Bihar have to do with Jammu and Kashmir. I want to tell him that the children of Bihar are ready to sacrifice their lives for Jammu and Kashmir,” Amit Shah said.
PM Narendra Modi has finished dynastic politics, caste politics and appeasement politics from the country. He developed the people or every caste and religion of the country.
