Patna, October 11, 2026: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary inspected the ongoing metro construction work near the Income Tax roundabout on Nehru Path in Patna.
During the visit, he reviewed the project’s progress and sought updates from officials on the current status of construction.
Samrat Choudhary directed the officials concerned to accelerate the work while ensuring compliance with the prescribed guidelines.
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary and cabinet minister Ramkripal Yadav were also present during the inspection.
The officials briefed the leaders on the progress of the project, following which Samrat Choudhary issued necessary instructions regarding the pace of construction.
Samrat Choudhary reached the Income Tax roundabout on the 124th birth anniversary of Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan.
He paid floral tributes at JP’s statue, located at this venue.
Cabinet minister of the Samrat Choudhary government criticized Congress:
Meanwhile, Ram Kripal Yadav, the cabinet minister in the Samrat Choudhary government, criticized the protest organized by the Congress, saying the party should accept electoral defeat if it loses elections.

He alleged that Congress was organizing protests forcibly and claimed that other political groups were also involved in the demonstrations.
Yadav further alleged that some protesters were acting as Congress agents and receiving foreign funding. However, these claims have not been independently verified.
Minister alleged attempt to destabilize the country:
Reacting to the CJP protest, Ramkripal Yadav also claimed that certain individuals and foreign forces were attempting to destabilize the country.
Questioning the motive behind the protests, he alleged that the activities were intended to undermine national stability.
His remarks came amid ongoing protests of the opposition parties and the CJP and their stated objectives.
