Purnea Police raided the office of Pappu Yadav and scanned the documents of his vehicles.

Patna: Purnea police conducted raid at the office of five time MP Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav on Thursday evening.
The police team reached there to find out whether he had taken permission from the election commission or not. The police team scanned the documents of the vehicles provided by the office of Pappu Yadav. Pappu Yadav is using a number of vehicles including a DJ vehicle in the election campaign.
“We went there for the investigation of vehicles being used in the election campaign. They told us that they have taken prior permission from authority. We will verify the document in the single window system. Following verification, if any violation appears in it, we will take action as per the law,” said Pushkar Kumar, the SDPO Sadar of Purnea.
“We were decorating the election campaign vehicle when the police team reached my office. I have a life threat. They had withdrawn my security on the day when I joined Congress. The police team threatened my office bearers and also tried to seize my vehicle. I have taken all permissions from the competent authority,” Pappu Yadav said.
Pappu Yadav also uploaded a post on social media platform X and said: “How much lower this government will stoop. How much you people will trouble the son of Purnea. The people of Purnea will give appropriate answers to you. I like your fear of losing the battle of Lok Sabha election.”
Pappu Yadav is contesting this election from Purnea as an independent candidate.
