New Delhi, January 12, 2026: As part of the pre-event proceedings of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Monday interacted with young leaders during the track-wise presentations before the panel of Union Ministers, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
The session marked a significant milestone in the dialogue, offering a structured and interactive platform for direct engagement between senior policymakers and outstanding youth representatives from across the country.
During the interaction, young leaders presented innovative ideas, policy insights, and grassroots solutions across major thematic areas, including building a sustainable and Green Viksit Bharat, enhancing productivity through Smart and Sustainable Agriculture, Innovation with tradition, and building a modern Bharat.
The presentation showcased the diversity, creativity, and problem-solving capabilities of India’s youth, reflecting their strong alignment with the national vision of inclusive, sustainable, and innovation-driven development.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan advocated for nation-building:
Addressing the participants, Shivraj Singh Chouhan emphasized the importance of purposeful living and collective responsibility in the process of nation-building.
Drawing inspiration from India’s civilization values, he said that life finds true meaning when it is dedicated to the service of society and the nation.
He encouraged young leaders to set ambitious goals and pursue them with commitment and discipline, highlighting dedication, focus, and inner strength as key qualities of effective leadership.
The Union Minister also acknowledged the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in creating platforms that enable meaningful youth participation in shaping the vision of a Viksit Bharat.
Institutionalizing youth participation:
The Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue 2026 is being organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports through the MY Bharat platform, with the objective of institutionalizing youth engagement in governance and policy-making.
The successful conduct of the interaction at Bharat Mandapam reaffirmed the Government of India’s commitment to recognizing youth as key stakeholders in national development and integrating their ideas and aspirations into India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation.
