Patna, October 16, 2025: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Thursday launched a scathing attack on the RJD-Congress alliance while campaigning in Bihar for the upcoming assembly election.

Addressing a rally in Danapur, Patna, Yogi Adityanath invoked cultural unity between Bihar and Uttar Pradesh and urged voters to support the double-engine government for sustained development.

Speaking in support of former Patliputra MP Ram Kripal Yadav, who is contesting from Danapur on the BJP ticket in this assembly election, Yogi said, “Uttar Pradesh and Bihar share not just a border but a shared soul, a shared culture, and a shared resolve. This bond is as unbreakable as the bond between Lord Rama and Goddess Sita.”

Yogi Adityanath attacked the RJD and the Congress:

The Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister took direct aim at the RJD and Congress, recalling the lawlessness that, he claimed, characterized Bihar between 1990 and 2005.

“Who doesn’t know about the Jungle Raj and nepotism that prevailed here,” he said.

Those who turned Bihar—the land of knowledge and spirituality—into a hub of anarchy are again seeking power. The NDA government has worked for 20years to free Bihar from that dark chapter.”

Yogi Adityanath said the INDI Alliance, comprising the RJD, Congress and other allies, was trying to derail Bihar’s progress by raising false debates.

“To disrupt Bihar’s development journey, they have sought power,” he said.

They want to rig the election under the guise of identity politics. Should we allow such forces to take away the rights of Dalits, the poor, and honest citizens?”

Drawing parallels with his governance in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath said the anti-social elements in his state have been crushed and their properties confiscated for public welfare.

Appeal to voters in Saharsa:

After addressing the Danapur rally, Yogi Adityanath reached Saharsa, where he continued his sharp criticism of the opposition.

“The welfare of the poor was never on the agenda of the RJD or Congress. Their only concern has been family welfare. When Congress tried to finish democracy, it was Bihar that rose up. But today, RJD has mortgaged itself to that same Congress, betrayed the dreams of Jayprakash Narayan.”

Concluding his address, Yogi appealed to voters to re-establish the double-engine government in Bihar and continue the pace of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
