Vijay Sinha claimed Sikandar Yadvendu is a close relative of Tejashwi’s PS
Patna June 19: Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar Vijay Kumar Sinha made a sensational claim related to the NEET question paper leak case and said the alleged kingpin Sikandar Yadvendu is a close relative of the leader of opposition in Bihar assembly Tejashwi Yadav’s PS Pritam Kumar.
“Sikandar Yadvendu is a close relative of Tejashwi Yadav’s PS Pritam Kumar. The NHAI guest house was booked for Sikandar’s brother-in-law’s wife Reena Yadav and son Anurag Yadav to stay on May 4. A phone number and “Mantri Ji” (Minister) were mentioned in the diary of the NHAI guest house. The investigating agency is making efforts to know the identity of that Mantri Ji,” Sinha said.
Deputy CM Vijay Kumar Sinha who is also a minister of the road construction department, said that he has ordered an inquiry into the booking of NHAI guest house.
“I am getting a complete investigation done in my department to find out which officers or employees are working at the behest of Tejashwi Yadav. All the people will be identified and action will be taken. The entire system of RJD is based on crime and corruption,” Sinha said.
During the investigation of the Economic Offence Unit (EOU) of Bihar police, Sikandar Yadvendu, a junior engineer of the municipal committee of Danapur, appeared as an alleged kingpin of the NEET question paper leak case. He was arrested by EOU.
The EOU of Bihar has found evidence that the question papers of the NEET 2024 exam were leaked. The examination was held on May 5 and the question paper was leaked a day earlier on May 4.
The investigation of the EOU revealed that Sikandar had made his brother-in-law’s son as well as many other candidates memorize the answers by giving them the question paper and answer sheets in the NHAI guest house.
The investigation of the EOU has revealed that the teacher exam question paper scam and NEET paper leak case that happened a few months ago in Bihar have been carried out by the same gang and the alleged mastermind Sikandar Yadavendu.
On May 5, the police arrested Reena from the NHAI guest house itself. The EOU also found an OMR sheet from the NHAI guest house.
After getting information about the use of the NHAI guest house in the NEET paper leak scam, there has been a stir. Reena’s son Anurag’s name is written in the guest house register. Letter no. 440 and “Mantri Ji” are written next to it. The EOU is investigating on whose instructions he was accommodated in the guest house.
Sikandar Yadavendu is a resident of Samastipur, Bihar. Earlier he used to work as a contractor in Ranchi. In the year 2012, he passed the Bihar SSC examination and became a junior engineer. Sikandar was an alleged accused of the LED scam of Rs 3 crore and served a jail term as well.
Sikandar Yadavendu had a son and a daughter who are studying MBBS courses in government medical colleges. Sikandar’s son-in-law is doing PG after MBBS.
