Patna, June 1, 2024: The Election Commission recorded 42.95% voter turnout in Bihar’s eight Lok Sabha constituencies till 3 pm on Saturday, as polling for the seventh and final phase continued across the state.
Voting is underway in Karakat, Patliputra, Arrah, Buxar, Sasaram, Jehanabad, Nalanda, and Patna Sahib, where 134 candidates are contesting.
Election Commission recorded the highest polling in Patliputra Lok Sabha seat:
According to the Commission, Patliputra registered the highest turnout at 49.89%, followed by Buxar (45.90%) and Karakat (45.07%) till 3 pm.
The Commission has registered 44.80% in Sasaram, 43.46% in Jehanabad, 40.98% polling registered in Arrah, 38.49% polling in Nalanda and 36.85% polling in 36.85%.

Polling is also being held for the Agiaon Assembly by-poll, which reported a turnout of 38.30% till 3 pm.
