Patna, July 14, 2025: Tension escalated in Bihar politics after Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav dismissed a source based information from the Election Commission as “urine,” triggering sharp reactions from NDA leaders.
Samrat Choudhary criticized Tejashwi Yadav:
The statement sparked strong reactions from NDA leaders.
Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, in a post on X, said Tejashwi Yadav’s statements reflect “irritation, panic, restlessness, and trembling,” describing him as “Fissaddi Lal and Loudmouth”.
Chaudhary claimed that whenever Tejashwi speaks publicly, nervousness and trembling are evident, attributing it to the pressure of handling potential attributing it to the pressure of handling potential electoral defeat and the internal chaos within the RJD over leadership succession.
Chaudhary further said that while the opposition tries to present a united front, a rift among them is inevitable in the coming months.

The remark Samrat Choudhary made came a day after a Mahagathbandhan press conference in Patna regarding the ongoing voter list revision in Bihar, where a journalist asked Tejashwi Yadav about reporters that names of foreign nationals from Myanmar, Nepal, and Bangladesh had allegedly been included in the state’s voter list.
Tejashwi questioned the basis of the claim, asking if any official document or press note existed from the Election Commission and, when told it was from “sources,” said, “We consider such sources to be urine.”
Background of voter list revision:
The Election Commission of India is currently conducting a special voter list revision in Bihar, with form submission underway from June 25 to July 26, ahead of the assembly elections.
