Patna, September 20, 2025: Leader of Opposition and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday declared that Bihar’s youth will “uproot’ Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s 20-year rule, accusing the state government of suppressing job seekers and failing to create employment opportunities.

Addressing a gathering during his Bihar Adhikar Yatra in Samastipur, Yadav said, “The youth have sounded the trumpet of revolution. If the poll body and its corrupt machinery dare to commit vote theft and seat theft, the people of Bihar will not spare them.”

Tejashwi Yadav said Nitish Kumar’s police have initiated a lathi-charge on job seekers:

He alleged that Nitish Kumar’s police have lathi-charged BPSC teacher aspirants, contractual employees, and other job seekers, while contrasting it with the Grand Alliance’s 17-month government, during which, he claimed, 5 lakh government jobs were given, contractual employees were regularized, and 3.5 lakh new jobs were created before Nitish Kumar switched sides to the NDA.

Reiterating his employment pledge, Yadav said, “If our government is formed, every degree holder will get a job or employment opportunity. We have already given the slogan ‘Certificate Layo, Naukari Pawo’ (Bring a certificate, get a job).”

Narendra Modi is taking votes from Bihar and establishing factories in Gujarat, says Tejashwi Yadav:

Taking a swipe at the Centre, Yadav accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of seeking votes without setting up factories in Bihar and vowed to establish industries within the state to provide jobs.

“Narendra Modi wants votes in Bihar, but wants to establish factories in Bihar. This will no longer work. The people of Bihar have woken up and given you an appropriate answer,” Yadav said.

Targeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Yadav said, “Amit Shah came a couple of days ago in Bihar and threatened me. I want to tell him that this is Bihar, and we are Biharis. We will not be cowed down. The people will teach you a lesson in the elections.”
