Patna, April 12, 2024: RJD leader and former deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav on Friday hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of avoiding discussions on key issues concerning the people of Bihar and the country.

“We are talking about unemployment and price rise, but he is saying something else. The Prime Minister can say anything, but the people want him to say what he has done for Bihar in the last 10 years. Why is he not talking about the issues? BJP does not want to resolve the regional issues,” Yadav said.

He also alleged that BJP leaders were openly speaking about changing the Constitution, while a section of the media remained silent.

“As they are not asking questions to the government, I uploaded it on social media,” he added.

Tejashwi Yadav targeted CM Nitish Kumar:

Taking a swipe at Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s campaign style, Tejashwi Yadav said some BJP leaders do not want him to address rallies and instead asked him to limit himself to road shows.

The comments came after Nitish Kumar held a road show in Nawada on his specially designed Nischay Rath, and later addressed a rally in Warsaliganj block.

“Everyone has a right to campaign, but CM Nitish Kumar has been asked not to give speeches. He has become an elderly person, and they want him to stay away from speeches. BJP does not want to resolve the regional issues,” Tejashwi said.

Mukesh Sahani criticized the BJP over its 400-seat slogan:

Joining him, Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) president Mukesh Sahani expressed concern over Nitish Kumar’s role in the NDA campaign.

“It is extremely painful for us that Nitish Kumar, one of Bihar’s senior-most leaders, has been asked not to give speeches. BJP leaders only want him to wave during road shows. When he spoke at a rally, he mistakenly said the NDA would win 4,000 seats instead of 400. They are afraid of such slip-ups,” Sahani said.

Sahani also urged Nitish Kumar to avoid campaigning in the hot weather, saying, “I request him to stay at home instead of doing road shows.”
