Patna May 10: RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav claimed Chirag Paswan does not know about reservation. He should listen to the old speeches of his father Late Ram Vilas Paswan.
The statement of Tejashwi Yadav came a day after Chirag Paswan claimed PM Narendra Modi is strengthening the reservation.
“There is no need to comment much on this. Chirag Paswan is a prosperous Dalit, why doesn’t he give up reservation. Chirag Paswan is not aware of history and hence he is with people having the mentality of BJP and RSS,” Yadav said.
Tejashwi Yadav suggested Chirag Paswan listen to the speeches of his father Ram Vilas Paswan.
“Chirag Paswan is free to live with anyone but he neither has complete information on the reservation nor is he aware of the history. He should first get some information on it, listen to the old speeches of his father Ram Vilas Paswan and then he will know the reality of BJP,” he said.
“In the speeches of Ram Vilas Paswan, he had clearly said that the BJP wants to end reservation. It is a riotous party. Due to this, he even resigned from the Union Cabinet. Everyone knows it,” Yadav said.
When asked about Chirag Paswan claiming himself as a Hanuman of PM Narendra Modi, Tejashwi Yadav said: “He does not remember what PM Modi has done to him. The Prime Minister got his father’s statue thrown down, vacated his house and snatched away the symbol of his party. There was a fight between uncle and nephew in the house yet Chirag Paswan remains PM Modi’s Hanuman. Under such circumstances, No one could stay with PM Modi.
“Ram Vilas Paswan was the leader of all of us. Chirag Paswan should have heard and understood his speeches. If PM Modi stays in the centre, there is a threat to democracy and the constitution. One should not live with eyes closed, one should live with eyes open. BJP leaders and MPs are repeatedly saying that by crossing 400, we will destroy the Constitution,” he said.
Tejashwi said whether it is the issue of reservation or any other issue. BJP people are not responding properly on any issue.
“They do not talk about the issues and we repeatedly say that be it employment, the welfare of the poor, farmers, labourers, but they do not discuss all these things. They don’t care about all these things,” Yadav added.
