Tejashwi Yadav is set to start Aabhar Yatra on Tuesday.

Patna, September 9: Tejashwi Yadav, the leader of the opposition in the Bihar assembly, is all set to start his “Aabhar Yatra” from Samastipur district on Tuesday.

This is part of a strategic initiative to connect and motivate the grassroots party workers ahead of the 2025 assembly election.

On day one, Tejashwi Yadav has planned to engage with workers from various assembly constituencies, such as Morwa, Sarairanjan, Mohiuddin Nagar, Ujiarpur and Vibhutipur, in a series of focused interactions.

This event is designed as a private gathering, not a public rally, where invited members including elected MLAs, MLCs, District Presidents, Block Presidents, and others will be present there.

The event is scheduled at the Town Hall in Samastipur at 11 a.m., where active members of the party from these constituencies have been invited to share their experiences directly with Tejashwi Yadav.

In preparation for the Yatra, Tejashwi Yadav had previously asked all district presidents to compile a list of members in their respective districts on September 4. The party has emphasized that this event is strictly for invited members from the mentioned constituencies, underscoring its purpose as targeted outreach rather than a mass gathering.

Tejashwi Yadav aims to gather insights on caste dynamics, the strength of opposition candidates and the other factors critical to the party’s success in the forthcoming assembly election.

Chitranjan Gagan, the spokesperson of RJD said: The upcoming “Aabhar Yatra” of our leader Tejashwi Yadav is starting from tomorrow (September 10) in Bihar. On day one, he will start the Yatra from the home district of social reformer and two times former chief minister of Bihar Karpoori Thakur. Our party believes in social justice and empowerment of poor people of the society.”

Another spokesperson Mritunjay Tiwari said: “Our leader will interact with the party’s workers and also give tips to execute at the ground level. Previously, Tejashwi Yadav had done many Yatras in Bihar and all of them were highly successful. The people of the state had given an overwhelming response to him and we are expecting the same in this Yatra too however, its concept is slightly different.”

This focused, grassroots-level approach is a continuation of Tejashwi Yada’s previous Yatras, but with a specific emphasis on internal party organization and strategy.
