Patna, September 4: Tejashwi Yadav, the former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and prominent RJD leader, is set to focus on strengthening the party’s grassroots connections during his upcoming Yatra, starting on September 10 from Samastipur district.
A high-level meeting was convened at the RJD headquarters in Patna on Wednesday to discuss the preparations for this initiative. During the meeting, Tejashwi Yadav emphasized the importance of the “Workers Dialogue Program” that will take place throughout the Yatra.
He announced that the Yatra would begin from the birthplace of Jannayak Karpoori Thakur on September 10 and would cover four districts by September 17.
“The primary aim of the Yatra is to engage in meaningful dialogues and exchange ideas with the party’s active workers to strengthen the organization,” Yadav said.
He said that the program would be focused on the workers of each assembly constituency, ensuring that only the relevant workers from those constituencies are present in the scheduled meetings.
Tejashwi Yadav also instructed all district presidents to prepare comprehensive lists of leaders and workers from their respective districts in advance of the Workers Dialogue Sessions to facilitate effective communication.
He emphasized that the leaders and workers operating at the organizational level are the backbone of the party.
“The purpose of the Yatra is to gather information about the challenges faced by the party organization, the common people and specific areas from the local workers. The information of the workers will be crucial in addressing and resolving issues,” Yadav said.
Furthermore, Tejashwi Yadav urged the workers to actively engage with the oppressed, deprived and poor people from all classes stressing the importance of embracing and respecting everyone. He emphasized that this respect should be evident in the party’s actions and interactions, reflecting the party’s commitment to inclusivity and social justice.
