Tejashwi Yadav fires back at the corruption allegations of Vijay Sinha and asked him to initiate an inquiry.

Patna, April 20, 2025: Following Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha’s allegations of Rs 26 crore corruptions in the Road Construction Department during the Grand Alliance government, RJD leader and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav has launched a fierce counter-attack on him and should correct it. No one is stopping this government from initiating an inquiry against him.

In a blunt response, Tejashwi Yadav said: “If there was any irregularity during my tenure, the government should correct it. Who is stopping them? The Deputy Chief Minister talks without head or feet where does he even have a brain?”

Tejashwi Yadav accused the current government of ignoring widespread corruption:

“We’ve asked many questions on the tender scam, but the government stays silent Government money is being used to promote their party.

Corruption is at its peak from Circle Officers to BDOs and still, no action is taken,” Yadav said.

He questioned the inaction of state-level investigative agencies, noting: “When CBI and ED conduct raids, crores are recovered. Why don’t Bihar’s own agencies take any action? Why are they silent?

The RJD leader also slammed the ongoing global tendering process, claiming it is a hotbed for corruption. He raised accountability questions over frequent bridge collapses in the state.

“Who is responsible for bridges collapsing again and again? Who will be held accountable?” Yadav asked.

Tejashwi  Yadav alleged misuse of taxpayer money:

In a major political accusation, Tejashwi Yadav targeted Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and his party, the JDU, alleging misuse of Rs 225 crore in the name of public outreach.

“Nitish Kumar has ordered 600 digital chariots worth Rs 225 crore under the guise of Mahila Samvad. But this is nothing more than a political campaign disguised as government work, funded by taxpayer money,” he said.

Tejashwi Yadav warned the people of Bihar to remain vigilant of what he calls blatant misuse of power for political gain, saying the state is suffering while the government is busy crafting narratives instead of addressing real issues
