Patna, October 26, 2025: Grand Alliance Chief Ministerial candidate Tejashwi Yadav on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the ruling NDA government, asserting that the people of Bihar are ready for change.
Addressing an election rally in Alta block under Kochadhaman Assembly constituency in Kishanganj district, Tejashwi spoke in support of RJD candidate master Mozahid Alam.
The rally witnessed an enthusiastic turnout as Yadav hit out at the state and central government for failing to deliver on their promises.
Taking a swipe at the ruling dispensation, Tejashwi said, “When water stagnates in one place for too long, it becomes polluted. The same is the case with the current government in Bihar.”
Tejashwi Yadav said he is not afraid of Amit Shah’s threat:
Recalling the political journey of his father and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tejashwi said, “Lalu Prasad has been fighting against the BJP and the RSS for years. When he arrested senior BJP leader L.K. Advani during the Ram Temple movement. He was not afraid of any threats. Then how can I, his son, be afraid of Amit Shah’s hollow threat?”

He also criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Bihar, saying, “Whenever Narendra Modi comes to Bihar, he only abuses me and Lalu Prasad Yadav. Now that elections are here, they are trying to scare us with cases and lawsuits, but we are not going to be intimidated by their empty threats.”
Appealing for people’s support, Tejashwi Yadav urged voters to ensure a decisive victory for Muzahid Alam in Kochadhaman.
Tejashwi Yadav was accompanied by Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahani, RJD MLC Kari Sohaib and others.
Tejashwi Yadav received a grand welcome from supporters upon his arrival in Alta.
Tejashwi Yadav also addressed a rally in Katihar:
Earlier, while addressing a rally in Katihar, Tejashwi Yadav had promised the formation of a Seemanchal Development Authority to accelerate the region’s growth.

Reiterating his key election promise, he said that under the RJD-led government, one member from every household would be provided a government job.
He appealed to the people to vote for the candidates of the Grand Alliance to bring about real change in Bihar.
