Patna, April 20, 2024: A day after polling for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader, on Saturday claimed that voting in all four constituencies went overwhelmingly in favour of the Grand Alliance.

“We are winning all four seats of Bihar in the first phase. The feedback we are receiving at the block level clearly shows one-sided support for the Grand Alliance,” Yadav told reporters.

Tejashwi Yadav said a wooden pot does not boil again and again:

Taking a swipe at the BJP, the former Deputy Chief Minister said, “The BJP’s claim of crossing 400 seats was a super flop on the very first day. A wooden pot does not boil again and again. Their mountain of Jumlas has collapsed. People of Bihar now understand, and they will teach the BJP a lesson.”

Gaya recorded the highest polling percentage:

Polling for the four constituencies, such as Gaya, Nawada, Jamui and Aurangabad, was held on Friday, with an overall 48.23% voter turnout recorded.

Gaya recorded the highest turnout at 52%followed by Jamui and Aurangabad at 50% each, while Nawada saw the lowest at 41.5%.
